The six astronauts spent their first day in space inspecting the shuttle's
thermal skin checking to see if the foam that fell off during lift-off damaged
the vessel in any way.

6명의 우주비행사들은 우주에서의 첫날을 셔틀의 절연체를 
확인하는 것으로 시작했습니다. 
발사 시 떨어져 나갔던 절연체 파편이 셔틀에 손상을 입히지는 않았는지
확인하기 위한 작업이었습니다.
