Being an actor isn't easy, particularly in London's famed 
West End, where they apparently have to deal with infestations of vermin.  

배우라는 직업은 만만치 않은 일인가 봅니다, 특히 런던의 유명한
웨스트엔드의 배우들은 해충까지 상대해야 하기 때문입니다.

While many of the buildings in the area are very old and
therefore difficult to manage, actors said things were getting out of control.  
 
해당 지역의 극장 건물 다수가 너무 낡아 관리하기 힘들어졌고, 
그 때문에 상황이 점점 악화되었다고 합니다

The vermin were causing bad smells and leaving their
droppings all over the facilities.  

이 해충들은 악취의 근원이 됐고 시설 내 온갖 곳에 
배설물까지 남긴다고 합니다 ,

One woman reported seeing bite marks in her lipstick 
after leaving the lid off overnight.

심지어 한 여성은, 립스틱 뚜껑을 열어두었더니,
무언가에 물어뜯긴 자국이 남아있었다고 합니다.
