Korea’s defense and knowledge economy ministries joined forces in a plan to develop 
a series of "smart" textiles for new military uniforms.
The new winter uniforms will be lighter, more durable and help dissipate sweat. 
They will also be water-resistant and help maintain warmth in adverse conditions. 
Some materials will also be used to give soldiers greater stealth abilities 
on the battlefield by making them virtually undetectable by radar. 

국방부와 지식경제부가 힘을 합하여 차세대 국방섬유 개발에 나섰습니다.
신형 방한복은 보온성은 기본, 습기는 배출하고 물 흡수는 막는 기능을 갖추었고 
가벼우면서도 내구성이 강하다고 합니다. 
그리고 몇몇 물품은 전쟁 시 거의 감지할 수 없는 레이더를 피할 수 있는 스텔스 기능까지 
갖춘다고 합니다.

-dissipate: 분산 시키다.

-water-resistant: 방수

-adverse conditions: 불리한 상황

-virtually: 한마디로 말해서

-undetectable: 걸리지 않는
